- ⋓ Event websites have a set active period, after which they are archived or taken down, unless otherwise agreed.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients must:
- ⋓ Provide accurate and lawful content for their websites.
- ⋓ Obtain consent from individuals whose data is shared with us.
- ⋓ Ensure all materials (text, images, videos) comply with copyright laws.
4. Payment and Fees
- ⋓ Payment terms will be agreed upon before work begins.
- ⋓ Full payment is required before a website is made live.
- ⋓ Refunds are only available if we fail to deliver as agreed.
5. Data Protection and Privacy
- ⋓ We collect and process client data only for website development and service improvement.
- ⋓ Clients must ensure they have the right to share any personal data with us.
- ⋓ We do not sell or share data with third parties without consent.
6. Intellectual Property
- ⋓ Clients retain ownership of their content.
- ⋓ We retain rights to website templates and backend systems we create.
- ⋓ Unauthorized resale, reproduction, or distribution of our work is not permitted.
7. Website Duration and Maintenance
- ⋓ Event websites are active for an agreed period (e.g., 24-48 hours after an event) unless an extended hosting plan is purchased.
- ⋓ Business/NGO websites may include ongoing maintenance based on a separate agreement.
- ⋓ We are not responsible for third-party hosting issues or domain expirations outside our control.
8. Limitation of Liability
- ⋓ We are not liable for losses due to website downtime, cyberattacks, or misuse of website content.
- ⋓ We do our best to secure client data, but clients should also take steps to protect their accounts and information.
9. Dispute Resolution
- ⋓ Any disputes shall first be resolved through negotiation.
- ⋓ If unresolved, disputes will be handled under Kenyan law.
